In the summer of 2008 Steve B. and I had a chance to attend the opening of a Boston Museum of Science exhibit called "Baseball As America". The Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, New York presented this travelling exhibit of baseball memorabilia and artifacts. During the event we had the opportunity to meet and have our picture taken with several Hall of Famers and the two World Series trophies from the Red Sox two recent championships. Here I am standing behind the two World Series trophies won by the Boston Red Sox in 2004 and 2007. I wasn't supposed to touch them but I did.
Steve takes his turn with the coveted hardware.
Here's another angle. I had surgery on my hand earlier that day so I was a little groggy.
Steve says, "Count 'em. That's two!"
Here are Steve, myself and in the middle there is Baseball Hall of Famer (Orioles) Eddie Murray.
Here's Eddie with Steve B's high school buddies, Larry P. and Jeff Idelson. Jeff also happens to be President of the Basball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown.
Bruce and Hall of Famer, Carlton "Pudge" Fisk.

These next few are a little fuzzy. Sorry.
Red Sox Hall of Famer Bobby Doerr speaks to the crowd at the event.
