Ex-Patriots Official Policy Statement

Re:   The Melvin Rule

As defined on February 19, 2008.

The Melvin Rule states that a member of the Ex-Patriots dart team may wear a jersey representing another team provided that the following conditions are met.

1.                 The player on the alternate team jersey must have played for the Patriots PRIOR TO playing for the team whose jersey is represented.

2.                 The player name is not a duplicate of a current team member’s jersey name.

3.                 The player named on the alternate jersey must not be a (expletive deleted), even if they are an ex-Patriot (i.e., Benedict Arnold, Jane Fonda, Matt Walsh, Christian Peters, etc.)

The Melvin Rule may be amended at any time by a majority vote of the team as deemed necessary by said majority.
